Topbilled by Asian superstars Yang Mi and Wallace Huo, “Reset” follows the journey of Xia Tian (Yang Mi), a young mother who just cracked the mystery behind time travelling.
Her discovery, however, comes with a price, as terrorists led by Tsui Hu (Wallace Huo) want to get a hold of the time travel formula she unlocked. They then kidnap her son and demand that she hands over the formula capsule as a ransom. Xia Tian succumbs to their demand and steals the capsule, only to have her son killed by the heartless terrorists.
To bring him back to life, Xia Tian goes back in time and does everything to prevent his son from suffering the same fate. Will she succeed in her mission?
“Reset” promises to take viewers on a heart-stopping action adventure with exploding skyscapers, car stunts, mind-blowing special effects, and stylish combats. Adding to that are several unpredictable twists that got the Chinese movie community abuzz weeks before the movie’s release.
