Atlantic recording artist Jasmine Thompson has unveiled plans for her first North American tour to date. The dates – which see the London based singer-songwriter traveling alongside Astrid S begins September 12th at Toronto, ON’s Velvet Underground and then continues through the month (see attached itinerary).
The upcoming tour celebrates Thompson’s recently released “WONDERLAND” EP. A new acoustic performance video of the EP’s “Wanna Know Love” – filmed live at Atlantic Records’ New York City studio – premieres today via Thompson’s massively successful YouTube channel which hosts nearly 3 million subscribers and over 457 million views.
“WONDERLAND” is of course highlighted by the single, “Old Friends,” as well as the exclusive “Old Friends (Jonas Blue Remix)”. Co-written by Meghan Trainor, “Old Friends” recently reached the top 10 on Shazam’s “US Future Hits” chart as well as the Top 25 on the iTunes Store’s “Top Pop Songs” chart. Thompson also recently performed the song – featured on ABC’s beloved Grey’s Anatomy – on NBC’s TODAY.
