Last December 09th , 2017, Jose Cuervo launched their new bottle design at Flume Live in Manila at the Palace Cool Club, as the global tequila leader unveiled their latest campaign, This Is The ShXt!

The new bottles were first released to the American market in early 2017. The new bottle design retains Jose Cuervo Especial‘s classic shape and features updated touches inspired by the brand’s rich history and world-renowned traditions.

These touches include medallions showcasing important members of the Cuervo family and the seal of La Rojeña, the distillery that has manufactured Jose Cuervo tequila for over 250 years!

From Mexico to Manila, a shot of  Jose Cuervo tequila is savored all over the world in moments of celebration. The tradition goes all the way back to 1795, when the Cuervo family was given a grant to distill and commercially produce tequila. In the centuries since, other tequila brands have entered the market but Jose Cuervo prevails as the shot of choice for drinkers everywhere!

Aside from the new bottle designs, a number of  Jose Cuervo products are also available in the country. Such offerings include:

Margarita Mix – Jose Cuervo’s pre-made margarita mix is an instant favorite! Best paired with Especial Silver, on the rocks or frozen.

Black – This mixto is fused with sugar cane spirit and aged for one year in oak barrels. Best enjoyed on its own or with cola.

Traditional Silver – Made from 100% agave, this unaged white tequila is the perfect base for cocktails such as the Margarita, Paloma, or Tequila Sunrise.

Traditional Reposado – Made from 100% agave, this rested gold tequila is best enjoyed neat or on the rocks.

Platino – Highly regarded as one of the world’s best tasting tequilas, Platino is made from 100% blue agave. It is handcrafted and chill-filtered to optimize flavor. Best served neat or on the rocks.

Reserve De La Familia – Each bottle is made from mature blue agave and is aged in oak barrels for three years in the family’s private cellars. Reserva De La Familia is best served in a sniffer to appreciate its complex flavor and aroma.
