Entertainment, sumptuous food, and almost P2-million-worth of raffle prizes punctuated business process outsourcing organization SYKES Asia, Inc.‘s annual Year-End Celebration (YEC) held November 25 at Halls 1 to 4 of the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City.
With the theme #SYKESTravelGram, the company placed the spotlight on its dedicated and aspiring talents who continuously dream to see the world.
The event was hosted by Eri Neeman and 2017 Miss Universe Philippines Rachel Peters.
Meanwhile, special performances by The Itchyworms and Morissette Amon made it a spectacular night for over 4,000 guests.
Travel destinations, travel essentials, a brand new Vespa scooter, and a grand cash prize of P150,000.00 were raffled off to lucky employees.
On top of these, some employees’ social media posts of group or selfie pictures at the SMX or SYKES offices with the hashtags #SYKESYEC2018 or #SYKESers, and new follows on @SYKESPHofficial on Instagram, won up to P5,000.00 in cash.
SYKESers cheered for the awaited employee competition where four groups – SG&A, Tech & Telco, Manila South, and DBBU – battled it out on the dance floor. Team Manila South took home the title as the grand dance competition champion as its members lit up the stage with vibrant colors and dazzling costumes, bagging P100,000.00 in cash.
Meanwhile, SYKESers who have been with the company for 10, 15, and 20 years were recognized for their loyalty and hard work during the SYKES Service Awards also held during the event.
SYKES Choices, one of SYKES’ programs to help employees achieve a healthy work-life balance, also chose a winning club which allowed its members to express their passion and share it with like-minded co-workers. This year, the SYKES Synergy Dance Crew, the organization’s recognized dance group, was declared as the SYKES Choices Club winner and was pre-selected by the SYKES Management team because they best exemplify the SYKES Choices Code and Credo.
Two lucky SYKESers were given the ‘Outfit of the Night’ awards for their best representation of the theme, and received P10,000.00 each.
SYKES’ grand YEC, as in previous years, served as an opportunity to show appreciation for all employees who excelled in their professions and gave equally excellent customer service for the company.
