They were either shot, run over, abandoned, beaten, or starved.  Volunteers from Chevron Philippines Incorporated (CPI), marketer of the Caltex fuels and lubricants, took an afternoon off work to care for these abused animals that were being treated at PAWS (Philippine Animal Welfare Society) rehabilitation center in Quezon City.  The volunteers donated 22 boxes of pet food and prepared meals for the shelter’s 256 cats and 74 dogs.
