Starbucks Philippines is inviting everyone to a fun evening to kick off the Christmas season at Starbucks! Christmas Kick Off Party, happening on November 3, Saturday, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm, at the open area in front of Starbucks Bonifacio High Street. During the event, guests can buy one (1) Christmas beverage and get the second beverage of equal or lesser value for free. A 30% discount will also be given on select merchandise. The third staging of the movie-marathon endurance challenge Star Movies Triathlon saw five winners sharing the coveted title. An interesting mix of yuppies and students won over the contest made more difficult by the fact that two other types of endurance challenges were added apart from the movie marathon itself. Filipinos can now get election-related news and information such as precinct locations and voter registration status anytime and anywhere using their Android phones as ABS-CBN launches the new COMELEC Halalan 2013 application, now available for download via the Play Store. A first of its kind in the country, the COMELEC Halalan 2013 application was developed by ABS-CBN in partnership with the Commission on Elections (Comelec). It allows voters to check the status of his/her registration and eligibility to vote via the “Registration Verification”. Citizens can also find their precinct or polling place in the application.
