ABS-CBN Releases “Isang Laban, Isang Bayan” For Manny Pacquiao

ABS-CBN recently released a song titled “Isang Laban, Isang Bayan” that is being offered to People’s Champion Manny Pacquiao in the network’s ongoing Isang Bayan Para Kay Pacman campaign.

The song encapsulates the feeling of unity that has pervaded the Filipinos since the announcement of his biggest fight. As the chorus of the song says, “Isang Laban, Isang Bayan/Pagsigawan sa buong mundo ang karangalan/Isang Laban, Isang Bayan/Sama sama ang Pilipino/Angat sa buong mundo!

It was performed live for the first time by Yeng Constantino, along with rapper Quest, with various Kapamilya stars during last Wednesday’s “It’s Showtime.”

“Isang Laban, Isang Bayan” is a collaboration between Star Music’s Jonathan Manalo, Quest, arranged by KidWolf and sang by Yeng Constantino, in just two days’ notice for free, going all out for their love of Pacquiao and the country, and will serve as the Kapamilya network’s war song to pump up the Pacman in the biggest fight of his career.

“Let us continue showing the world that the People’s Champion is not fighting alone. We have to show the world that with every punch he throws, the power of the Filipinos are with him so keep sending in those punches,” urged ABS-CBN head for sports Dino Laurena.

Laurena also announced that ABS-CBN is holding a cheer rally and concert for Manny Pacquiao, saying, “Everybody is invited join us at the Marikina Sports Complex grounds as we host ‘Bida Kapamilya: Isang Bayan Para kay Pacman’ where we will also debut the music video of ‘Isang Laban, Isang Bayan,’” The concert will start at 4PM. Tickets will be made available starting 1:00 PM at the venue itself.

It’s not too late to share a punch for Manny via the Punch Ng Bayan on the oneforpacman.abs-cbn.com website or by tweeting and posting on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram using the hashtag #OneForPacman.

As of 5:30PM Thursday, the punches collected for Pacman has reached 28,774,430.
