The Contact Center Association of the Philippines (CCAP) elected a new Board of Directors last December 7 at their joint year-ender party with the IT and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP) at Revel at the Palace in Bonifacio Global City. The new Board includes Current CCAP President Mr. Benedict Hernandez, Accenture; Mr. Jojo Uligan, Curo Teknika; Mr. Dan Reyes, Genpact; Mr. Jovy Hernandez, PLDT Alpha; Ms. Tonichi Achurra, Startek; Mr. Butch Valenzuela, Visaya KPO; Ms. Ayhee Campos, Infosys; Mr. Mickey Ocampo, Pilipinas Teleserv; and Ms. Annie Reyes from Motif Limited.

“I am privileged to be re-elected and serve another term for CCAP,” said Mr. Reyes.

“I’ve been very engaged and involved with the industry, so I feel honored to officially be part of [the Board],” said Ms. Achurra.

Earning the loudest applause was returning founding member Ms. Reyes, who said that she is “ready to serve the industry once again.”

Incumbent President Mr. Hernandez relates that the new Board is “more diverse,” given that there are three women joining them. “We had a lot of high caliber, very promising candidates for this year. I think we’re thankful that there are so many industry leaders who want to devote their time and talent in the development of the industry,” he said.

“There’s a lot of ambitious targets and key strategic initiatives [for Roadmap 2022] and it’s now up to the Board in leading the association and putting substance and momentum to these initiatives. That’s the next job for us,” said Mr. Hernandez.
