Atlantic recording group Why Don’t We have unveiled their brand new track “Hooked,” available now at all DSPs and streaming services here. Arriving overnight, the song shot to #3 on iTunes’ Overall Songs chart, ahead of artists such as Post Malone, Shawn Mendes, and Ariana Grande among others.
Meanwhile, the song’s companion video – which brings the band’s recent comic book-inspired, social posts to life – made its broadcast premiere on MTV last June 8 and is streaming now on Why Don’t We’s massively popular YouTube channel, which currently boasts over 1.7 million subscribers.
Today’s arrival of “Hooked” comes as Why Don’t We wrap up the European leg of their biggest headlining tour to date, “The Invitation Tour,” where they’ve been playing sold out shows nightly. Earlier this year, the band sold out the tour’s entire North American leg, including multiple nights in LA, Chicago, Toronto, and NYC. They return stateside for a slate of summer of radio shows starting this week. For ticket info and tour updates, please see whydontwemusic.com. Why Don’t We will return to NBC’s TODAY on September 3 for a special Labor Day performance, outside in Rockefeller Plaza as part of this summer’s “Citi Concert Series on TODAY.”
WHY DON’T WE are: Daniel Seavey, Zach Herron, Corbyn Besson, Jonah Marais, and Jack Avery.
