Firefly LED, the leader and most trusted LED brand in the market, partners with the Ateneo Blue Eagles for the upcoming University Athletics Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 82 this year.
Firefly has chosen to partner with the Ateneo Blue Eagles Basketball team as it is one of the most trusted teams in UAAP, with proven track record of success. The tie-up covers the senior and junior Men’s Basketball Team, as well as the senior Women’s Basketball Team.
The partnership was officially signed at the Blue Eagle Gym, Ateneo de Manila University, on August 28, 2019. In attendance were Ateneo de Manila University’s Assistant to the President for University Athletics Fr. Nemesio S. Que SJ and University Athletics Director Emmanuel T. Fernandez, and Firefly Electric and Lighting Corporation (FELCO) Marketing Director Erik Riola and Assistant Brand Manager Christine Reyes.

“This is yet a start, hopefully, for a longer partnership we are looking at in the future,” Fernandez said.
Riola, on the other hand, said the partnership with Ateneo Blue Eagles will allow Firefly to reinforce the presence in the UAAP and to strengthen further its brand affinity.
“Firefly has been sponsoring premiere basketball league for several years now. We consider basketball as one of our equities because it is very much aligned with our core target market,” Riola said.
