Kim Chiu Shines As The New Face of Nature’s Way Aloe Vera System

(PCDSI) announced that Kapamilya actress and recording artist Kim Chiu has joined the PC family as the new face of Nature’s Way Aloe Vera System, PCDSI’s flagship hair care brand. Kim was formally launched during the brand’s press event last August 16, 2019 titled “Born to Shine.”

Kim Chiu made her mark in the Philippine entertainment industry by conquering TV, film, and music at a very young age. She debuted as the winner of the first teen edition of the reality show “Pinoy Big Brother.” She then starred as the lead in different television series which include: “Sana Maulit Muli” (where she won GMMSF’s Most Promising Female Star for 2007), “My Girl,” “Tayong Dalawa,” “Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo,” “My Binondo Girl,” “Ina, Kapatid, Anak,” “Ikaw Lamang,” “The Story of Us,” and “Ikaw Lang ang Iibigin.”

Her 2014 film “Bride for Rent” is one of the highest grossing Filipino films of all time, grossing P326 million at the box office. Her other films include “I Love You, Goodbye,” “Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo?” and “The Ghost Bride.” Kim also received a PMPC Award for Best Drama Actress on her performance in “Ikaw Lamang,” four FAMAS Award nominations (winning one), and was hailed as the Princess of Philippine Movies and TV for three times at the GMMSF Box-Office Entertainment Awards.

Kim uses her media influence to promote various causes. She began partnerships to launch the “Win Against Asthma” campaign after battling asthma as a child. She was also heavily involved in relief efforts for Typhoon Yolanda. She also gives regular help to the thousands of inhabitants of Isla Pulo, an impoverished community in Manila Bay, Philippines.
