Just saw the 1st episode of The Kitchen Musical at ABS-CBN 2 and I can’t help but review this sizzling new show. I guess everyone is familiar already with the American hit TV series “GLEE” that I think started this trend. It’s actually the same with The Kitchen Musical except this one is more serious and focuses on the lives of people working in a posh restaurant – the chef, the general manager, the staff, etc.

I blame food events why I’m gaining so much weight lately. But I’m actually not complaining because I love food and I love to eat. And I thing I love the most is when I get to try new dishes or new products from soon-to-open restaurants or from my favorite diner. Got the chance to have a taste of an ultimate fine dining experience courtesy of RED GARLIC BISTRO CAFE owned by Chef Vincent Rodriguez (an invitation I got thru a good friend, Maan D’asis Pamaran). The food tasting was intimate and limited bloggers were invited. I was joined by…

It’s rare for me to watch Tagalog films simply because I felt I could wait for it to be shown in free TV. And you can’t blame me because I can’t help but notice so many flaws from it. Horror and drama becomes comedy because of bad acting. But I gave  exception  though to some Tagalog movies especially if it’s produced by Star Cinema. Because quality is what they offer in almost every movie they release. So far for this year, the only Tagalog I enjoyed are “Ang Babae sa Septic Tank”, “Wedding Tayo, Wedding Hindi”, “Zombadings: Patayin sa Shokot…

Watched THE CHANGE-UP premiere screening one rainy evening (September 26) at Greenbelt 3, Ayala Malls, Makati City courtesy of Solar Entertainment Corporation. I am a sucker for adult comedy films and when I saw the trailer for The Change-Up, it gives me the impression that I will enjoy watching this movie. Also, I’ve been enjoying a lot of comedy films done by its main cast Ryan Reynolds (The Proposal) and Jason Bateman (Horrible Bosses) and thought it’s interesting to see them switch characters for this film.

Who doesn’t love, or at least like chocolates? I can’t name any from my friends or family who doesn’t enjoy eating chocolates. I grew up having a sweet tooth and in my case, I love chocolates especially with nuts (peanuts, almonds. macadamia, etc.). I could say I’m a choco-holic because I can eat a bunch of sweet treats all for myself. That’s why when Ogilvy invited me to cover the launch of Van Houten Chocolates, I made sure I didn’t miss it. For chocolate enthusiasts like me, it is more than just a sweet treat; it is a celebration of…
