I have only seen The Planet of the Apes (with Mark Walhberg) and I was not that amazed both with the story and special effects. I remember it being a big joke with reference to Michael Jackson’s look-a-likes. It’s a sick joke, I know. And then there’s a huge buzz on the return of the apes dubbed as “Return of the Planet of the Apes”. This time around, it stars Hollywood actor James Franco (who’s most memorable films includes “Spider Man” and my favorite “127 Hours”) and a more realistic images of the Apes. Most of my girl friends who…

I’ve known R&B Singer Luke Mejares since his South Border years and managed to be friends with him. He is a great singer with great sense of humor. He never fails me with his jokes. But most especially, I admire this guy for his talent and his passion for music. After leaving his band, he did well with his solo career and as part of the now-defunct “Sabado Boys” (along with other top OPM artist/musician like

I’ve been a long fan of The Smurfs and I remember following its series in my childhood days. They are sooo cute and I love how they named each other by their personality or characteristics. And when it was finally announced that it will be brought to the big screen and in 3D, I was a bit hesitant because I always felt, when Hollywood start touching these classic figures, it changes drastically that you are not sure anymore if the new look really looks good at all. Some example that I didn’t like the new transformations are Scooby Doo, Garfield,…

The event place was colorful and converted the basketball court of Ronac Art Center into a huge playground. I’ve been invited to Jollibee’s twice (the 1st one was at the launch…

I was invited yesterday (August 11) to cover the press conference for Kapamilya teen actress Kim Chiu as part of the promo for her upcoming comeback in primetime TV via “My Binondo Girl” held at Choi Restaurant, Greenhills, San Juan. Although it started late, Kim Chiu was apologetic enough when she arrived but everything was forgotten because we were all mesmerized with her charm. Wearing a skimpy designer outfit and shoes she recently bought at Hong Kong, Kim Chu is a picture of an elegant primetime princess. Kim Chiu gamely answers questions from the member of the press and bloggers…

The 1st time I saw the movie trailer of “Crazy, Stupid, Love.”, I immediately liked it. The lines are witty and funny and Steve Carell happens to be my favorite  Hollywood  actor.  I think I first noticed him as Jim Carrey’s  nemesis  at “Bruce Almighty”. Since then, I’ve been following his films and even buy original copies of his DVD movies. One thing that catches my attention also is that particular line “It looks like it’s photoshopped” by Emma Stone referring to Ryan Gosling’s  chiseled  body. That makes me laugh so hard! Hahahaha! And so goes the invitation to watch…

The last time I bothered to watched was “Ang Tanging Ina Ninyong Lahat Last…
